Constant tummy upsets in an otherwise well DC

My 5 yo DD is off school today with diarrhoea for the sixth time since she started reception in September Sad .
Each time she has these episodes of very loose, pale stools she is well in herself and has no other symptoms. currently playing happily, singing to herself at the top of her voice and is upset that she's going to miss PE. She's not off her food at all, not lethargic, no nausea or anything so it seems a shame for her to keep missing school but they are very strict about the 48 hour rule, which I completely understand. I just don't believe it's due to bugs because she's well in herself and she can't possibly have stomach bugs that frequently, surely??

She's always full of energy but I have noticed that she often looks pale and has dark circles under her eyes, despite sleeping from 7pm- 7am every night.

She has a good diet, with lots of variety and we are quite strict about sugar. She loves her food and is a healthy weight. Just seems to be very prone to loose, pale stools and will often say her tummy hurts but seems fine and quickly forgets about it.

Has anyone experienced similar and any ideas what could be causing this? I'm on maternity leave at the moment but when I go back to work this is going to be a nightmare to manage with absences so I need to figure out what's going on.

Have you been to the GP?

My first thought would be some sort of food intolerance, maybe dairy or gluten. Best to see GP who can run some tests.

I took her to the GP for this reason when she was in preschool and he was very dismissive, just "oh small children get lots of tummy bugs at this age". Which I completely accept is true, but I don't believe that's what this is. I also spoke to a HV about it and she basically said the same and I got the sense she thought I was making a mountain out of a molehill.

I've rung the GP surgery this morning and asked for a telephone consultation with a different GP, she's ringing me later so I'm hoping she takes me more seriously.
