Intermittent Exotropia

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone here has this condition.
We noticed my daughter had it (eyes turning out occasionally) at about 3 months and it got progressively worse.

She had botox surgery at 18 months which was ineffective. It then got much worse and she had surgery at 2 and a half. The doctor overcorrected as is the norm, so she was slightly crossed for awhile and still sometimes is.

She patched for years to strengthen the eyes and started wearing glasses about 3 years ago. At our last appointment doctor said all was good, but on report to gp said there was residual exotropia... Which basically means a slight sign of exotropia.... Prior to that in all reports they had said she had Esotropia (turning in)

Since the doctors report I have noticed that her eyes have started turning out again..... Its very slight and not all the time., but I can't help but feel this is the start of it returning.

I feel really down about it as she has basically been clear of it for 5 years.... She doesn't even know she had it, just thinks she needs eye appointments.

She has a appointment in February, I might try to bring it forward.... But if anyone can give me some stories about long term effects after surgery I would be grateful
