We have an appointment next week following a referral from the GP back in Aug after DD who is 3 was saying she had pains in her hip/groin over a number of weeks, it was actually 2 appointments 2 weeks apart in case the pain was from a viral thing and it was swollen lymph nodes.
Anyone know what they are likely to do in terms of tests/physically checks?
The GP had bloods done back in the summer which were clear.
In the week nursery mentioned they have noticed she's walking on her toes more, which she has always done on and off, and also sits in odd positions when on a chair, this is something we have noticed at home also, she sits with her legs either out (like you would if sitting on the floor) or she will have one leg up so her heel is on the chair and her other leg tugged under.
I'm assuming it's just more comfortable for her to have them as at those angles.
It doesn't tend to stop her doing anything during the day, just more of a stiffness in the morning or evenings.
I used to have issues with inflamation in my hips/knees but at an older age 8-10 so I could say more of what it was hurting and when, plus it was a good number of years ago so it's difficult to remember everything, just that they put me in traction for 2 weeks at a time which I don't think happens anymore or is really necessary.
