Dd, 13, concerned about her spotty back.

No facial acne just on her shoulders.

Any suggestions as to how to help treat it?

Thanks Smile

Maybe a hormone imbalance?
Could try witch hazel or tea tree cleanser.
Or go drs and see if they can give you some cream.

I had a spotty back for years and years until I started using this soap

Might be a complete coincidence of course, but maybe worth trying. It's about £12 I think.

Also tell her that when showering she should wash her back after fully rinsing out her conditioner rather than before, in case the conditioner is blocking her pores.

My son had very bad acne on his back from 14 to 17. We tried washes, antibiotics, cleansers, everything, the only thing that worked was Roakuttan, it has to be prescribed by a skin consultant, My DS was very down about his acne and wouldn’t take his top off at the beach- we live near the sea, so all his friends used to go and he would just sit there with his top on. He is now 23 and has told me, it was the best decision I ever made for him. But there are side effects and he needed lots of check ups to make sure his liver etc wasn’t effected.

I am wondering how much is just hormonal and will go over time?
