Cranial osteopathy - results?

So my DS is 4 months and has his first cranial osteopathy appointment tomorrow.
He was born from start to finish within an hour - some say this can cause stress in a Baby. He does suffer with silent reflux poor thing but he is also really unsettled. He wants to be held all the time and literally SCREAMS all the time. Even when I hold him he often doesn't settle. He can barely manage an hours sleep and is just really unsettled.
Has anyone had similar? Or know how quickly I should see results (I'm at my wits end as you can imagine)

You may find the "PURPLE crying" site very helpful - aimed at parents of babies who cry persistently or concerningly. May not speak to every parent but deserves a wide audience.

4-5 months is usually quoted as the end of the peak crying period so you may hope that things will start to improve.
Cranial osteopathy isn't an evidence based intervention so I don't think there is any particular timescale other than natural resolution of the underlying condition.

My DD was out in two hours and also cried for months. We tried it, settled her tummy a bit (practitioner said she had quite a tight diaphragm and loosened it and it did stop her constant hiccups). Not magic cure but every little helped. She was chilled baby by 6 months anyway.

There is absolutely ZERO evidence that cranial osteopathy will do anything to help your baby. Save your money. The practitioner will be skilled in making you feel good about how you are wasting your money but that's because they are silver tongued charlatans.

How does he feed? One of my DC was like this and turned out to be lactose intolerant, which is obviously a problem for a baby! She would cry with hunger but when offered boob or bottle would shy away. Eventually she'd give in, get stomach ache and cry even more. It was easily sorted with colief drops and some sachets to add to her milk from the doctor.

We spent a fortune on this, hoping it would help my daughters neck muscle issue. Biggest waste of money ever. She was literally just touching her head really lightly. Went back every week as advised. No difference whatsoever. Lost hundreds
