Ds - sunburn

We are in Spain at the moment and ds - 9 - has sunburn. He went to play football this morning with some friends he’s made and I creamed his neck, face, and arms but stupidly didn’t do his back and shoulders as he was in a t shirt. However he then took his t shirt off. He was like it for about an hour before we realised. He is now red. I have health anxiety and am very worried about him as well as feeling very very guilty.
I’ve put aloe Vera on him and am giving him plenty of water but at what point should I panic?

Obviously sunburn is best avoided but I don't think there's any need to panic over one hour at the end of August in UK

A long, cool, shower or bath should help take the heat out of it.
Paracetamol if it's painful.
Doctor if it blisters badly, or gets infected (oozing pus), or he gets a high temperature, is confused sort of side effects.

Hopefully cooling off and drinking lots, and moisturizing the skin will have him ok by the morning.
