Not giving my daughter 3rd vaccinations?

I'm just looking to see whether anyone has been in a similar situation really. My daughter is due her 3rd vaccinations tomorrow, she is 5 months old. The last 2 times they have made her really ill and she even ended up going into hospital they made her chest that sore and ruttly, she's had a cough ever since and I cant help thinking it's related. I obviously don't want to put her in danger of diseases but I'm thinking she will already be covered to a degree? I know a lot of people think it's crazy even considering not vaccinating but I can't bear her being so poorly again. Has anyone else been in the same position? Thank you

@fremenow I've done extensive research. I've also done research on how information relating to vaccinations is presented on the internet. It's heavily biased towards anti-vaccine movement but is presented in a way to look professional. But it's all scaremongering, hyperbole. The worst place to do your research around vaccinations is the internet - unless you have a high level of medical knowledge.

The responsible thing to do is speak to a medical professional.

And @freemenow it's 'know' , 'professional' and 'whether' 🙄

Thanks again for all your replies. I'm going to delay the 3rd ones for the time being until she is 100% better with her chest.

Rainbow queen - I never said in my op that a medical professional told me they caused by her jabs, I'm not 'making anything up.' I just know as her mum that she developed a bad chest straight after her jabs which is lingering, it could also be coincidental.

I was always going to talk to a doctor, not just mumsnet but I wanted to hear from mums in a similar situation and now I have.

Rainbow queen - sorry I misread your post, you said 'making the link.' I had a bad night with DD and was still half asleep!

No worries OP, just glad you are going to speak to a GP, I think that's the right thing to do and I hope your LO gets better soon

I waited until my boys were older before having there MMR on advice from my middle sons neurologist, all of them were over 4 years old before having them, doctors never tried to encourage it earlier as it was on there notes, go with your gut feeling and I'd probably wait till she's a bit older and strionger x

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 09/08/2018 15:22

@freemenow oh the irony of someone who can't tell the difference between 'your' and "you're' calling a PhD educated academic stupid 🙄

The only 'sheeple' I see are those that fall for the ridiculous, obviously fake or misinterpreted 'research' relating to vaccinations. One question I have is why? What possible reason do the government and medical profession have for using vaccinations to poison us all?

You should be grateful that you live in a country that offers a full programme of vaccinations as part of the NHS instead of believing a set of conspiracy theories that don't make sense and put people in danger.

And for what it's worth, I got my information from a professor in immunology so I'm satisfied with regards to it's credibility and validity.

BlaaBlaaBlaa · 09/08/2018 15:24

Oh and doctor's are trained by university's not large corporations

shewolfmum · 09/08/2018 23:28

Actually they are 'unavoidably unsafe'. Ask the cdc.

Ah I was waiting for that old anti-vaxx chestnut.
