Baby bump on head not going away- pics included

I noticed a bump between my babies eyebrows when he was 5 months old. I was worried he had somehow hit his head and I'd not seen it, so took him to out of ours to get checked, the doctor gave it a poke and a prod and said it wasn't hurting DS so not to worry.
It never went away, was very slight and difficult to see unless you were his parents, I think. I asked at the doctors about it when he was six months (I was there for a different reason) and again the doctor poked it a bit and dismissed it.
DS is now nine months, he's had tonsillitis, so back to the doctors we went. I asked them about the bump, they measured it this time, the doctor said it is soft and so not to worry.

I can't help but worry, nobody has actually told me what it is, and it seems to be getting more noticeable as he grows. Has anyone seen anything similar/ know what might be causing it?

Thank you in advance

I can't help I'm afraid, but just wanted to say he is gorgeous!

Oh I can see a bump on both photos in fact. I would ask doctor to send dc for an x-ray to check for any abnormal growth, esp as you said it is growing with him.

Your pfb is lovely btw.

You shouldn't have been fobbed off like that. I had similar, noticed a lump on dds head when she was a few weeks old. First thought was that she had hit her head but we went back over all the photos and found it had always been there! We got referred to an expert and got an explanation (which I can't remember - sorry!) and were told we could opt for surgery when she was older or she would likely grow into it. 10 years later and you can't tell it's there, she has grown but the lump hasn't.
