Virus? Ear infection? Urine infection?

I would give calpol to bring her temperature down as she is still young and make sure she has plenty of fluids.

Have you asked if she feels unwell or has any pain? See may need to see a GP if she does.

She did say she had a headache I think that may be the temp..... she's not complained of any thing else as yet not sure how long to leave it till I should contact a doc

You can always call 111 for advice.

Yes I’d ring 111

I wouldn't give calpol to bring temp down just keep hydrated and an eye on her. Prob fighting something. Let the fever do it's job.

Im laying with her now still same temp it staying in the 38.5 -38.8 so best to let her fight it then to bring temp down you think

If you need to get her temperature down then give her ibuprofen, it's much better at doing this than calpol. I only found this out when DD was hospitalised with a raging temperature when she was 15 months old.
