Temperature due to heat?

My DC has a temperature. Yesterday it was about 38 and today just a low level temperature but I can feel the heat coming off. I wondered if it was due to the clothing it's been 23/24 degrees inside, I've kept all the windows open with curtains closed so it's not stifling in here but I thought a vest would be best, no sheet as DC fights it and will wake up as soon as covered. I'm concerned about putting a grobag on due to not knowing the cause. There's nothing I can do to cool the room down either.

Is it normal for babies (10mo) to get a slight temp if it's warm?

The only way heat would give you a fever is if you have sun stroke. Otherwise it will be an infection causing it. You're doing right thing with the curtains pulled and keeping him in light vest, if you have a fan you could put in the room that would help. My little boy had a fever from Thurs through to yesterday and the first night was awful because it was 24 degrees in the room and he was also 39.4 internally, I had him just in pants and he felt like a fire, it was awful. I've found the fan to be a lifesaver the last few nights x

Thank you. I did know that but DH thought otherwise.

DC has still got a slightly raised temp, a bit off but seems to be playing so I'll just keep an eye out. The fan has come out now too. I can't imagine being ill with a temperature in this heat!
