Hey, I'm only 19 and my mum isnt here so i thought i would come here.
I went to me gp today as my throat has been very sore - very hard to swallow saliva and ive had a high temp 38 degrees. He said I have tonsillitis and gave me an antibiotic and some low does of co codamol (8/500).
The first time I took the co codamol I felt slighty nauseous, all my pain was gone and I just fell asleep. Then about 6 hours later I took another one (I'm taking 2 pills at a time) and witin miniitues I started shaking and mt pemreature rose to 38.2 again and i felt very sick after about 20 mins i had to throw up. Im feeling better now on an empty stomach tho :(
my doctor said that the antibiotics may make me feel sick but it had been over 6 hours since i'd taken them and he advised to take it with actimel which i did.
i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem on co codamol and what i can do, also if you have any suggestions on what to eat as im now scared to eat anything!
sorry if this was really long, im just very ill and would like some advice :)
