Does this look like chicken pox (with picture)? (After having vaccine)

Hi wondering if anyone can help. My daughter has been exposed to chicken pox at nursery but I chanced getting the vaccine to try and prevent it. She was vaccinated on Friday, the nurse said she would be unlikely to develop chicken pox after the vaccine even if she has been exposed but that she might get a few spots as the vaccine does it's work. My DD has come out in some spots from Sunday evening starting in her nappy area, yesterday these were also on her feet (pic attached). No more have developed overnight. Do you think she is getting chicken pox and we were too late with the vaccine or could it just be the vaccine side effect? Or something else??

Sorry for such a long post!

Thanks

Could it be hand, foot and mouth? I think the rash can appear in the nappy area too with that?

I was going to say H,F&M too. Check the palms of her hands and her mouth.

The incubation period of chicken pox is 10-21days and they are infectious prior to spots appearing so yes you could have missed the boat.
The vaccine does not protect against all the chicken pox strains so you can get chicken pox even if you have had the vaccine, but you do tend to have a less severe case.

Thanks for your help. I got my DD checked over by the nurse at our GP surgery and she agreed that it looks like hand foot and mouth.
