Reoccurring eggy burps and sickness??

My 20 month old DD has been ill twice within the past month. The first time we had to take a trip to A&E due to her vomiting several times and having the most disgusting smelling burps we have ever smeltConfused They smell like rotten eggs & poo.
She recovered quickly and was told by A&E it was just a stomach bug and to let her rest up.
Once again, it's happening and I'm just so unsure about what is causing this? especially the foul smelling burps. Does anyone have any ideas?
Doctor at A&E didn't give us any answers as to what maybe causing this Angry

Possibly H Pylori which needs antibiotics, can be tested for. Look it uo

Hi my mum suffered from this for years, just recently found out she has celiac disease. Since watching the foods she eats the smelly burps have gone.

Giardiasis gives you diarrhoea with eggy burps

Could be giardia - this can be easily identified from a stool sample and is easy to treat.

Coeliac disease is another possibility.

There is a 24 hour stomach bug that is not at all serious that gives eggy burps. It is disgusting. We have had it go through the family at least 3 times. The good news is that it gets less severe each time, if our experience is typical.

Eggy sulphur smelling burps is a hallmark of C Diff.

nocoolnamesleft · 07/05/2018 01:48

Yeah, but symptomatic c diff in a 20 month old is about as common as a phoenix feather buried in rocking horse manure.

Did they get all the way back to normal in between? If so, probably just 2 of the current delightful viruses. If not getting 100% back to normal, worth considering temporarily cutting back on dairy...
