Should I be worried?

Looking for advice please.
My 2.5 year old has always had very wet/normal stools, usually a good reflection of what she's eating and drinking (more often than not they are explosive!)
In the past 3 weeks or so she has had just rock solid, very dark, smelly small round poos. She does go every day so she's not totally bunged up, but she does seem to struggle to pass them and often they stay stuck in her bum and I don't notice until I change her nappy.
I've been watching her diet and fluid uptake but it is all totally normal. Tried giving her foods/drink with laxative effects but it isn't changing.
Is this a sign of something or nothing to worry about? Not sure if it would be a waste of GPs time if I went to the doc.

Thanks.

Probably constipation. Explosive poo is most likely poo gthat gets around a blockage.
Go to gp
Get a good regime of softener ask gp
Give probiotics daily that can help.

My DD goes that way if she gets too much banana. Any chance that could be it? We have to ration now.

Is she growing and otherwise healthy and active ?
If other sympto.s check for coeluac
But most likely is severe constipation needs a good regime of movivol or similar from gp

Interestingly she's just gone off banana so doesn't really eat it anymore, where she was having it every morning.
Ok I will take her to the gp and get something. It's just so strange that it's come on when nothing in her diet has changed.
On a positive note she seems to be recognising when she needs to go a bit more so has been on the toilet a few times!
