My DD is 10 weeks old tomorrow she brings her wind up fine in the day no problem. She wakes for 1 feed at night around 4am I can wind her for 15-20 min with nothing she will lay down and fall asleep in my arms but as soon as I lay her in her cot she will be so restless she will fall asleep after about 10 min of me rubbing her head and stomach but will continue to be restless bringing her knees up and making little noises fo at least 20 min before she finally settles. I've tried infacol with little success I'm wondering what else you Mums would recommend? She is formula fed on Aptamil colic and constipation milk under advice of doctor and she drinks around 6oz in the day and will take about 4.5oz in the night

Have you tried propping up her mattress so she is not lying flat? Also, if you have a blanket, roll it up until it looks like a long sausage about a metre long. Take off the sheet from her cot and put this roll like a horseshoe or the letter n on the mattress. Put the sheet back on and you have this little nest that is like your arms. Hopefully this will make her feel comfy and the elevation on the mattress will help with wind pain

I wind and normally keep upright dc for at least 30 to 40 mins, even at night. We pay the price of an unsettled baby if not. Also do you rest dc on your knees and circle their feet over their tummy or bicycle their legs to release wind at other end?

We tried dentinox in my son's bottles which helped better than any of the other things out there. Try gripe water too 😊
