Parents with children that have occasional red blood in poo

My daughter has had this since she was 2. She's 7 now and it's probably happened 10 times in that time but I do wonder if I should be checking again? It's always been put down to hard stools but I am a worrier. It's always a red streak on the loo. She does do big ones. I'm worried about polyps but of course don't want to put her through anything unnessecary.
Thanks

My DS (7) has had this on and off for past three months. I took in the drs and they had no idea why it could be happening. They stressed that they didn’t think it was anything to be concerned about but have referred to a paediatric. We have a hospital appointment next month. I have tried to keep away from Dr. Google and don’t have any idea why it happening.

I just want to know if it's normal for children to have this on occasions though their childhood x

Not normal as in there will be a reason but mostly something quite simple

They've always said it's due to big poos
