Told my friend (over text) about my 6wo DSs green runny nappies, was telling her the HV said so long as he's still eating plenty and gaining then not to worry. She replied that it could be "Macro"

I don't want to sound stupid and ask her what it is in case it's something I should know Confused

i'm a retired nurse and "macro" means big. but nothing I can think of when referring to runny nappies....
I suggest it's a typo

Macronutrients? Carb / fat / protein.
She's a woman of few words though.

Maybe she means NORO, as in norovirus and it's an autocorrect fail?

MadamePomfrey · 02/09/2017 19:10

I have heard talk of macronutrients but usually in terms of dieting! She maybe trying to say he has an intolerance but she needs more words for it to make sense!! Shes either made a typo or doesn't really know what she's going on about!!

It isn't you. "Macro" makes no sense in reference to a baby's nappies.
