Hoarse voice

Not sure if to be concerned or not, my two year old has had a hoarse voice for quite a while.
He can have a few hours here and there where it sounds normal and then goes back to being hoarse again.
Not really had any colds or coughs and is normally happy and healthy.
Just wondering if it warrants seeing the gp and what could be causing it.

I would pop him along to doctors, does he suffer any allergies?
You can get a post nasal drip that can cause throats clearing leading to hoarseness, it is often cause by allergies.

I dont think he has any allergies, and I haven't heard any throat clearing.
Will book an appointment on monday, he did have milk intolerance when he was a baby but been fine for over a year now.
Cheers

DS has this. Often sounds like a 50 year old man. He's 8 but has been this way since 2 or 3. Also had milk allergy as a baby. It comes and goes.

Wonder if it is an allergy then, he is hoarse everyday but he might have a couple of hours sounding normal.
Somtimes he sounds like a teenager when the voice starts to break iyswim.

Went to the gp this morning, the gp can not find any reason for his voice to be this way but said it is not normal.
So he has refered ds to see a pead.
