My cousins HV has just told her that she needs to be giving her DS a vit D supplement even if she is taking one. He's 9 weeks old and EBF

I did not know this and I haven't been even taking a supplement myself! My DD I shall also 9 weeks old and EBF

Can you recommend a product for DD as there's so many geared towards babies! I would just get a basic supermarket own brand for me

speak to a pharmacist, you need the right supplement, the wrong one would either be useless or dangerous. Ask a qualified expert, not the internet!

Did the the health visitor give you drops?

The nhs provides free drops for dc up to 4 years. And free tablets for mum up to 1 year.

If not don't worry and you can pick some up from some pharmacies.

Info site:
www.healthystart.nhs.uk/for-health-professionals/vitamins/

Nhs search for local free D pharmacy:
www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Healthy-start-vitamins/LocationSearch/348

Pats self on back for refraining from making lewd free D innuendos.
