Blood in poo

My six year old has just been for a poo and it had some red blood in it. She said it hurt when she went. She had a couple of episodes about three years ago where she had blood and they tested for inflammation which was the highest it could be for a child but not where they would worry.
I'm a worrier so not too good at the mo. Have kept it for doc tomorrow but any advice appreciated

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My lo had this when she got constipated and tore a bit on her bum

If she's constipated try treating that
I would book a gp appointment though

Thanks. Is it a red flag for children or am I really over thinking/worrying? X

Could just be a tiny tear (fissure) so i wouldn't worry too much

Is her poo a bit on the hard, dry side? That's what happens to my and my DD. I have to remember to drink lots. I've had blood in my poo since I was a child I'm now 50. If the blood is on the poo not in it is important

Yes hard and always big. She said she had a tummy ache after and her bottom still hurt a bit.

I bet she's like my girl she doesn't drink enough. Porridge is good for having softer poo
