Does this look like chickenpox to you??

I noticed a couple spots around my DDs midriff this morning when getting her changed - initially I thought it could be a nappy irritation as she is still in bedtime nappies, but then I noticed a couple other random spots on her thighs and arms. After a couple hours she had quite a few spots on her torso and thighs and a few more on her arms. I instantly thought chickenpox as that's what I thought they looked like, however none have blistered and no more have appeared after the first couple of hours. She doesn't seem too bothered by them and is well in herself.

When I took her to bed she felt a bit clammy and I've just checked on her to find her hair drenched in sweat but she's really cool to the touch - taken her temp and it's 36C so not too low.

Does this sound like chickenpox or could it be something else?

Pic shows the worst affected area on her stomach this evening.

Doesn't look like chicken pox at all.. definitely looks like a reaction - although the only time DS1 had a reaction to hotel sheets (!) he just started swelling up rather than got blotches (talk about freaked out on holiday, as his eyes started to swell shut and we tried to figure out what it was!)

Walk in the woods, touching something and scratching?

Is Measles totally out of the question?

Has she had a temperature at all? DS1 had roseola when he was one - which had a non-itchy, but spectacular rash all over him like that, but it starts with a fever which you would have noticed I'd have thought

It does look like allergy to something. Have you tried filling a food diary? Common foods that cause problems are dairy, chocolate, tomatoes, eggs, nuts... Have a look online

Sorry I just read about the sweatiness but no temp - goodness knows - I'd certainly get back to the GP.

A actually said to DH I wonder if it's dairy, it's one of the only things she had every day and she eats A LOT of it. Boy oh boy, if we told her she couldn't eat cheese I would quickly take cover afterwards!!

@Jedimum1 I struggle to get her to take medicine and asked if there was a cream we could use but he said he didn't think there was one that would make much difference - interesting to know there's s topical antihistamine in existence (maybe not for kids?)

Me And DH are away for the night with DS2 as she has a hospital appointment a few hours away in the morning and we won't be back till tomorrow tea time - if there's no improvement in the rash I'll take her back to doctors on Wed as that will be a full week

Would hives last that long?

I guess if the trigger is still there, she will still have it:
