My 9month old DD went to bed last night at 7 and woke up at 6.30. I put her in my bed and fed her back to sleep as she usually doesn't wake until 7.30. At 7.30 my partner went to work and she stirred but didn't wake up and slept until about 9.45? She kept 'trying' to wake up she would go on all fours and then collapse her head onto my chest and go back to sleep, I didn't think anything of it but now I'm worried.
When she woke up she did an extremely wet poop (she's usually slightly constipated and her poops are thick) and then tried to go back to sleep! I kept her awake but usually in the mornings she's a bundle of energy and wouldn't let me change the nappy as she'd be rolling around. This morning she just lay there ?
Usually I put her on the floor in the hallway while I go to the loo and she crawls around playing for a bit. But she lay on the floor barely going on all fours!? I've now fed her some solids and she seems a bit more perky but I'm worried! Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong !

She's just done ANOTHER poo. It's massive and very wet? I've never seen her poop so much.
She also hasn't got a temperature.

Could she be a bit dehydrated if she is loosing so much liquid through her poo? I'd call your surgery to see if they think she should be looked at. Hope she is back to normal soon!

She may be coming down with something, but I would either speak to my GP or 111. (If you do make a GP appointment, she'll almost certainly be running around full of energy by the time you get there... They always do!) It does sound a bit worrying for her to be so tired.

Neverknowing · 08/08/2017 10:45

Yes. I'm going to do that. I wasn't sure If 111 would be too dramatic, I think I'm freaking out because she's my PFB!
I don't think she's dehydrated as she's only pooped twice and she was strange before that. She's had breast milk and a cup of water too Confused

Yes @MrsKCastle it's very odd. She's usually full of beans! She's a tiny bit better now but still very off and tired. She's just lay down on her front and out her head down Sad

I thought she sounded dehydrated. Definitely call your GP to see if they can examine her. Have you checked her temperature?

Neverknowing · 08/08/2017 10:51

Oh gosh maybe she is dehydrated! I'm in a queue on the phone to the surgery now.
Idk her temperature exactly as I don't have a thermometer she's never been ill before 🙁 she doesn't feel particularly warm though.

How is she now, Neverknowing? I hope she has perked up.

TheweewitchRoz · 08/08/2017 21:34

Another who hopes she's perked up too.

Neverknowing · 09/08/2017 10:42

Sorry for not updating everyone. She's absolutely fine! They don't know what was wrong but think she may just be teething (there's a definite bump under her upper gums) and therefore feeling a bit sorry for herself. She'd perked up by bedtime and fine today!
Thank you so much for all your help 😊
