Men B vaccine

I had my now 2 year old vaccinated privately last year. He had two jabs (2 months apart). They are now saying he needs one more, but I was under the impression only two jabs were needed?

Obviously if he needs it I'll have it done, but it was at a very expensive private clinic and I feel a bit like they are just being a bit money grabbing. The doctor kept telling me what a good deal we were getting as some people were paying £2k per jab. Obviously that is mostly rubbish and makes me not really him that much.

If anyone has any info that would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I've just had my eldest two done at Boots and there was definitely no mention of a third jab being needed. Haven't heard of anyone paying £2k either - think we paid £110 per jab!!

I think I paid £130 per injection and it was definitely only two injections.

We paid around 150 per injection too! No mention of 2k!

I think it's only 3 jabs if under 2 so you should be fine Smile

We had 3 jabs but she was under 2.

In fact, now the men b vaccine is given to every child at 4 weeks, 16 weeks and 1 year.

Three jabs if under 2 at time of first jab. Two jabs if 2 or over. How old was he st the time of first jab?
