Back of ears

Hi
I have noticed that behind my daughter ears are slightly asymmetrical. No lumps or anything but one side is more protruded than the other - only to touch not by sight.

I have major health anxiety so I am hoping someone can tell me this is normal.

Thanks

I am referring to the hard part of the head behind the ears, not the ears themselves. One side is slightly bigger than the other

You can't expect strangers on the Internet to give health advice. See a medical profession if you have reason to be concerned.
Are you seeking help for the anxiety? That sounds like the real issue.

Thank you.

Yes I have an appointment upcoming for cbt for health anxiety.

She also has a lump on the back of her head which doctors have said is perfectly normal, either a gland or a muscle and absolutely nothing to worry about at all. But of course, I'm worried. It's small and like a pea.

Of course, while looking at the gland thing, I have noticed the asymmetry in her ears. So that worried me too. They're not related, it's a different side and there are no lumps behind her ears.

Looking forward to starting the therapy.
