dentists/parents advice dental bridge, orthodontic

Hi my ds knocked out his permanent central incisors - both in an awful accident. After the shock we now need to plan for the future. The aim is for the to be opened up with orthodontics once his incisors are through, place a bridge and then have implants when he has grown.
Any idea of the cost of a ceramic brace? Can we have orthodontic treatment nhs but just pay for the brace itself?
Is it worth paying for a bridge privately?
Will
it look and function much better?
How much should we expect to pay?
If we go private how do I find a good dentist to make and fit the bridge? Oxford, bucks, Berkshire

This type of complex dental trauma is best co-ordinated by paediatric dental specialist with orthodontic guidance. Usually this means the nearest University Dental Hospital ( or similar) will do the required treatment.
Has there been a referral made ? Because, this is way beyond the realms of General Dental Practice (whether that is NHS or Private is irrelevant).

My dentist said it will take years for a hospital appointment. I have found an nhs orthodontist who has worked at consultant level at guys.

Hmm.....not sure why your dentist has said that, usually all referrals to the paediatric dental depts are triaged & patient with injuries such as your DS would be seen pretty quickly. Few weeks @ most in NW where I am.
I work in community dentistry, our patients are children on referral & special needs adults. Your dentist really should be referring to your local community dental service. who will do all the liasing with the hospital. The two services are often intertwined anyway.
