Teething or unwell?

Morning all,

DD is 15 months old. The last week she has shown signs of teething; off food, fussing, foul smelling dirty nappies, light sleeping, sporadic temps, scratching back of neck, chewing fingers and dribbling. All standard symptoms.
In the last 24 hours she has come out with a pale rash all over her torso, legs and arms, ulcers on her tongue (causing pain to take calpol), and has woken many times during the night crying but generally settled back to sleep after a minute or two and dosed up. Her dribbling has reached new heights.
I've checked her mouth to see for teeth but can't see any obvious signs of a new one emerging. Has anybody else's children experienced the latter of these symptoms when teething? I've read that they are too signs of it but I can't help but wonder if I'm wrong now.
TIA Smile

Might be her throat, be pretty hard to see though.
My 2 year old always dribbles more and chews his fingers when he has a throat infection.
Also the rash sounds viral so it would fit with that.
I would get her checked as she is so young and can not tell you what is going on.
Hope your dd feels better soon.

Thanks Daffodils.

GP checked her this morning and couldn't find anything obvious. Likely a virus that should run its course in the next week or so.

Gave my 7 month old an Ashtons and Parsons teething powder and its made him go really cold to the touch this also happened 3 weeks ago and it wasn't until tonight I have connected it to the powder ! Dont know if anyone else has experienced this with their little ones ?

Not something I've experienced no. I've only used the Parsons powder once or twice though as I didn't really think it provided any real relief.
