My child will be 12 weeks tomorrow and he's literally biting like crazy on anything in his hands! Just wanted to know if this is him teething. How old were your children when they started teething??

I have the same with my 11 week old. He also dribbles a lot -seems early to me for teething so would also be keen to know others experiences!

As part of a baby's development they learn about things by putting things in their mouth so it's really difficult to know if they're teething or not! My DD started that around the same age and still is soaking a billion bibs a day but no teeth at 4.5 months Envy

My DD started doing that around the same time...she got her first tooth at eleven months!! Grin

DS born with a tooth, DD 9 weeks. Their dad's family are all early teethers. DDS first tooth came out at 3.11 and at 5.9 has lost 9 teeth, DS has a wobbly tooth at 4.3.

4 months, full set just before second birthday. Nelsons Powders were our friend. SIL described them as 'baby cocaine' after seeing how they calmed DS.

4.5 months for first tooth. Full set by a year. Not a lot of sleep in our house for the first year due to colic from 10 days to 4.5 months and then teething from 4.5 months to a year!
