She has little/ no bruises as of Wednesday afternoon but these have just come up over the last few days. She's been in nursery wed/thur/fri morning.

Is this normal? She's never been this bruised up before! Also saying that her legs are hurting.

She's 3years 8months.

Looks normal to me (my 2 girls aged 5 and 7 have definitely looked like that at times over the last few years).

My Dd was and is always covered in bruises, complete tomboy, now ten and often found up a tree, climbs over walls instead of opening gates.

At three she was the same. She once had a big swollen raised bruise that was awful, like a bantam egg cut in half lengthwise and stuck to her shin, one of many. We had an appointment with her cardiologist the week of this bruise and he winced but and said it was fine. Part of growing up.

I would be pleased if my daughter had that few bruises to be honest/definitely wouldn't go to the doctors.

My DS legs are constantly covered in bruises more so now he's learnt to ride his bike You are obviously worried so take her to GP to give you peace of mind.

She's my first baby and I worry about her health. Probably more than I should tbh X

They don't look too bad on the pic imo. If her knees/ankles were swollen and she was complaining of pain in her joints I'd probably get her bloods done x

Look like bike-riding bruises to me!

The time to worry about bruises (as long as you know how they got them) is if they take longer than usual to heal, or don't clear up, or look worse.

So my dc normally have a selection of bruises up their shins. I'm their mum and know it's normal for them.

You've said it's not normal for your dd, it's causing concern, and in the light of Jemima's post I think you should trust your instincts, if you think you should go to the Drs then you should go.
