Does anyone know if i can ask the optician to make my son's lenses as anti-reflective and thinner than usual? we have the eye doctor prescription which entitle us to have free glasses but i would like my child to have trated lenses as he is very long-sighted.

You cam but you pay. The prescription free bit is a discount

I think it's about £40 per thinning treatment. We have ds's thinned out twice as otherwise they are so thick!!! Shop around though as we found prices varied a lot.
