Hello, my daughter (23months) didn't eat much yesterday. She then slept for 13 hours last night which is totally out of the ordinary! When we got her up, she really wasn't herself, she hardly said a word and literally was lying on the floor in the living room for an hour with her teddies. We gave her a bottle of milk which she downed and then immediately threw it back up. Now she's had almost 2 pieces of toast and is back to her normal self.... I wouldn't say she had a tummy bug but would I keep her from the childminders tomorrow!? Thanks.

Yes. It sounds like she's ill. The sickness doesn't have to be constant to be part of a contagious illness.

Er, yes, she sounds ill. And it's not just the vomiting, is it? You've said in your OP that she isn't her usual self.

No, vomit doesn't always mean they are ill.
DS2 has vomited twice in the car. When this has happened, and its been the only possible thing wrong, I have asked nursery if they want him when I drop his brother off. He has been accepted both times.

But in your case I think you do need to keep her home tomorrow.

My DDs often used to be sick when they were tired. See how she is by the morning. Could be just a one off.
