Would you recommend cheap baby lotion?

Hi, my DD who is 4 months old has quite try skin, especially on her face.
I'm searching good baby lotion.
I saw many people saying Weleda is good, but it's too expensive for me.
So, would anyone recommend baby lotion cheaper than Weleda?
I'm thinking of
E45 Junior Moisturising Lotion,
Waitrose Baby Body Butter,
Childs Farm Hand and Body Lotion,
Mum And Me Baby Ultra Mild Baby Lotion,
and so on.
I don't like too heavy or greasy thing..

Personally I wouldn't use any, but would stop using any soap or bathe wash also and just use water as she is probably getting dry skin from that

Thanks Artandco, but I don't use any soap or bathe wash cause I think my DD is too young to use such products

I used sweet almond oil on DD, it's fairly cheap, unscented, lasts forever and does the job brilliantly.

Ask your HV. They have samples of E45 and Aveno. Or at least our does.

Coconut oil?

Just use olive oil/coconut oil. Something gentle.
We use value baby lotion on tricky poos :)

100% recommend coconut oil!! It is amazing stuff, all natural, minimally grassy and easily absorbed, anti-bacterial and anti-viral, reasonably priced from most health food shops (even for the raw organic stuff, which is best) & you can even eat it - it's bloody delicious! I'm not kidding get some asap! :)

You can get hydromol free on prescription. It comes in an ointment or lighter cream version. DS was prescribed it at 6 months so check with you HV if it's suitable for younger babies.

I think it's not always true that babies don't need products. Some have dry skin that you can't always shift by using nothing. We had this with DS who has persistently dry flaky etc skin despite us using only olive oil or coconut oil in the bath.

E45 is good as it's non-irritating and there is also oilatum junior that was ok.

Coconut oil is good but it's about £10 for a jar (it does last for months though), but op said the weleda stuff (about £8) is out of her price range so coconut oil might be as well.

With coconut oil, I was advised to use only the organic / virgin stuff as some of the cheaper brands might have additives or something that might irritate babies' skin.

Mu 8 week old has terrible dry skin and eczema, the dr prescribed aveeno and doublebade hypo allogenic bath lotion/shampoo/body wash and moisturiser bow her skins greAt.

Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter is really nice and has all natural ingredients, mainly olive oil. £3.50 a pot IIRC.
