Expressed breastmilk - how much per feed?

Hi,

I've got quite a few nights out coming up (it is wedding season after all!) and wondering how much milk I'll need expressed for my son. He's 16 weeks old today and ebf so no idea how much he normally takes. He weighs about 16 pounds (guessing since he was 15pds 3oz two weeks ago).
Can someone help cause I don't want the grandparents running out of breastmilk lol

That guide says 3 ounces per feed.

That doesn't seem much at all for a 5 / 6 month old

I used to express for my DTs night feeds and they used to have 4oz per feed each when they were 12 weeks old

THERES TWO SAYINGS:

FIRST IS:

Age plus 2/3 OZ.

So 4 month old baby = 6/7 OZ

2 ND ONE IS:

Around half the child body weight.

So 16lbs = 8 Oz

That seems alot to me...

What milk to give
Choice 1: Expressed breastmilk (EBM) (if possible from the baby's mother)
Choice 2: Formula made up according to the instructions
Choice 3: Animal milk
(Dilute cow's milk with 1 cup of water to 3 cups milk, and add 1 level
teaspoon of sugar to each cup of feed)
Amount of milk to give
Babies who weigh 2.5 kg or more:
150 ml milk per kg body weight per day.
Divide the total into 8 feeds, and give 3-hourly.
Babies who weigh less than 2.5 kg (Low-birth-weight)
Start with 60 ml/kg body weight.
Increase the total volume by 20 ml per kg per day, until the baby is taking a
total of 200 ml per kg per day.
Divide the total into 8-12 feeds, to feed every 2-3 hours.
Continue until the baby weighs 1,800 g or more, and is fully breastfeeding.
Check the baby's 24-hour intake.
The size of individual feeds may vary

So if he is about 7kg,

150 times 7 = divided by how many times he feeds in 24 hrs = the amount per feed.

Well I tried him on 5oz per feed and he seemed to be hungry a lot quicker than normal but now he's been like that all weekend so suspect a wee growth spurt haha. How bad timing is that?! hahaha but I reckon it must have been about 7oz he could take so will test drive again during the week. Thanks everyone! X
