Am I supposed to be actively doing anything with ds's molluscum?

Should I inform the school that he has it? Should he be wearing long sleeves (it's on his arms)(hot, makes his eczema itch so don't want to have to). I know about not sharing towels but he is in very close contact in a tiny house with his siblings-are they bound to catch it? Can I use hydrocortisone on the eczema when he has mollusca in the same place? Any home remedies that can be used on very sensitive skin?

Leave them alone. My daughter has them - gradually going after about 6 months.

Hi, my boy is 11 months old and has had them for about 5-6 months ... They started getting bigger and spread from his back to his front. After lots of research I realised that there would be no harm in picking one and seeing the outcome. So after soaking my boy in warm water I picked one to see what would happen..anyway it didn't bother him so I carried on and continued with the biggest ones first. Anyway they are completely gone now and this was just over 2 weeks. I used all clean cloths and afterwards they would bleed but I covered him in sudocream... And now I wish I took a before and after picture now. Hope this helps.

My DS1 has had them for 18 months now, am hoping they are on their way out as we had a massive flare up a month ago and now they are rapidly diminishing. I didn't tell school as took the view there was nothing I or they could do about it. As it can be such a long time before they clear up I think long sleeves would be impractical throughout a hot summer. DS2 has now got some on his arm - I'm guessing this is from sharing baths so if you can avoid that at all then I would advise it. Other than that I don't think there is much you can do.

Another thought; we now have two separate pots of emollient for DS' eczema so as not to spread the molluscums around his body - one pot for the back of his legs and bottom (where the molluscums are) and one pot for anywhere else on his body. We always do his legs last as well, just to be safe.
