looks like nettle rash/hives. You could try piriton to see if it calms it down. Were they outside today?

Hassled · 09/04/2015 20:36

Yes, I'd say that's a reaction to something they've brushed against or been in some sort of direct contact with. Odd that it looks like it's on various parts of the body, though.

It does look like hives / an allergic type rash. Is it itchy? Do you have any antihistamine such as piriton you could try?

They have now turned into these. Chicken pox?

Yes, the recent pictures look very much like chicken pox.

Our DD's nursery have notified us that two children were diagnosed with scarlet fever in the week before Easter, so we've all got leaflets. Not to be alarmist but apparently its doing to rounds all around the country. Sounds positively medieval but is easily & quickly treated with antibiotics it seems. It also has a raised rash on face, neck, chest, behind knees etc.. although apparently they don't always have every symptom. There's also supposed to be some sign of it on their tongues as well as a fever most likely. I think little ones suffer more with the itching from chicken pox though. Definitely worth a visit to the GP for either scenario. Hope they get better soon.
