DD is saying that her are fizzy when she looks at computer screen and books

My DD (6) started saying a couple of days ago that the letters and numbers on the screen and page look fizzy when she reads them. This morning she is complaining that they hurt as well.

I've googled and it has said it is common for young girls to say this for attention and to ignore it.

She had an eye test in February and the optician said her sight was fine. I don't want to pander to her if she is saying it for attention (possibility) but I don't to ignore if she needs to see a doctor or dentist.

Can anyone advise please.

DD aged 7 is being assessed for dyslexia and says that sometimes if words are in certain colours on a particular coloured background that the words move about like on a boat. Could be something similar?

What utter BS that girls do this for attention.
Children say this when they have eye sight problems and need to see an optician.
This started to happen to me as a kid by 8 I wore glasses and still do. I had a school eye exam which I passed not long before it.
The problem with 'fuzzyness' is that you can squint and guess the letters giving a false result, as a kid I would do this because I thought I was being good and helpful.
Any decent optician experienced with children should know to look out for it.

I know I was a bit Confused at the girls reference as well.

She is complaining about noise now and her breath has that sweet smell they get when unwell. Could it all be caused by a bit of a virus? She says it hasn't been happening long, the last day or two.

If its only a few days then she may well be coming down with something. Could the fuzzy eyes actually be a headache disturbing her vision?

if she is only just suffering from thisthen could be she is going down with something. It could be migraine. How is her reading?

She was reading yesterday and when playing mathletics on the laptop she seemed to find it difficult to read the smaller words and numbers.

She does occasionally get headaches and she gets tummy ache quite a lot. This is the first time she has mentioned it affecting her vision though.
