Baby went floppy while laughing

Hi all
Earlier on today dc3 went all floppy whilst she was laughing. I was tickling her, she chuckled a bit then went limp, her eyes sort of flickered upwards a bit like when they have wind. It lasted maybe 5 seconds and then she was and still is fine.
She had been asleep for about an hour and just had a feed when it happened. She's 4 months old.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be and does she need to see a dr?

Bumping for you

Deffo need to take a trip to drs to get this checked out. Years ago I remember a friends ds having a similar condition, he use to blackout if he received a shock/surprise. As far as I remember it was not serious but when it first happened I think the little boy was checked for things like epilepsy.
Hope things go well for you and baby.

No experience of that but I'd definitely have her checked out to be on the safe side.

Thank you, I will try to get her into the drs tomorrow.

Sounds like cataplexy - not saying that's what has happened here (I have no idea whether it can occur in babies) but it's reminiscent of it. You should definitely get her checked out.

I could be completely on the wrong track here, but I heard somewhere that tickling a babies feet can cause fits? Definately worth getting her checked out to be safe.

I took her to the drs today, and because she didn't go blue and it was only short lived he wasn't worried.
