Teen spots but sensitive skin and stomach

Does anyone know the best spot treatment for a teenager (DS 13 with Asps) with hypersensitive skin and a hypersensitive stomach (IBS)?

All the stronger creams on the market will burn his very fair (ginger hair) skin and he also has a tendency for a mild allergic reaction if he puts any products near his eyes - which then swell up underneath.

Oral meds. have side effects that can make his IBS worse too.

But there must be something out there that is used by similar teens/people?

Only thing he's used so far is Freederm but this isn't doing much. Can anyone please help, as he's getting more and more self conscious.

Did you use Sudocrem on him when he was a baby? This is really good on spots so if he can tolerate it I would recommend trying that.

Thanks RibbonJar. Yes, I used this on him when he was a baby. He may baulk at using it as a teenager though and presumably could only use it last thing at night, otherwise it'd be visible on his face at school I think.

He gets really bad spots right beside either side of his mouth and on his forehead. The ones by his mouth make it even more difficult to tackle as any kind of cream right near his lips will likely sting and dry up that area.

I feel so sorry for him and not really sure whether we should go to the GP - but everything I've seen on the internet seems to imply that the most effective spot creams are also those that burn the skin and he's even hypersensitive to fragrance free creams like suncream and everything really.

Have you tried Liz Earle cleanse and polish? Not a spot treatment but very gentle and excellent for your skin
