Hello,
My friend's daughter has this....she was diagnosed at a few days old. After a rough few months, especially over the winter with a few admissions to hospital, she is now doing well.
She is now over a year old and still squeaks away when she breathes, but growth and time have definitely helped.
My son was diagnosed with bronchomalacia (floppy bronchus) at a few months old, and now at 2 years of age it is not quite the problem it was as a baby.
Time and growth are the key with these things....it's just a worrying journey with a new baby, and one where you wanted a crystal ball to see that it's all okay in the end.

My dd had this also was diagnosed at a couple of weeks old and now at 17 months old she is fine and it has all developed now how it should. So don't worry I think a lot of babies have this.

My ds8 had this, was terrifying at first but was told he would grow out of it and did pretty quick too! X

My nephew had this and grew out of it pretty quickly (maybe a couple of months) I know it was quite scary for my sister when he was tiny (she described him as making farm yard noises) but no sign now at a year xx

My DD had severe laryngomalacia. She had surgery at 10 weeks old after a few hospital admissions and a sleep study. The surgery was fine and her oxygen saturations improved loads immediately but is still very noisy and squeaky even now at 14 months. She also had severe reflux which the consultant said often goes alongside laryngomalacia. She was on a continuous tube feeding pump for months but is totally fine now. I didn't believe she'd get improve but she really did as she got bigger.
