early teether - age of first molars

Hi,

my DS (10 months) is a relatively early teether, at least judging by tooth eruption charts such as this one - his first three pairs were about 2 months ahead of 'normal' schedule (first one at 5 1/4 months), he then took a long break and only popped out his fourth pair last week (in other words, pretty much caught up with what is described here as the normal schedule).

If he stays within the normal sequence, his now due his first molars, although apparently not for a few months yet. When did the first molars come through with your kids? Did it make a big difference for eating? I am asking because I'm hoping it will make mealtimes easier (not that they are particularly difficult now, but I still have to adapt meals now and then... and I'd rather not have to!)

DS got his first two teeth at 12 weeks, and his molars at around 14 months.
