Small baby with threadworm

Has anyone had experience with a baby under 6 months having threadworms (pinworms)? My little girl has got them from her older sister? The thing is, I really need to confirm whether she actually has them before the drs actually look into any kind if treatment. She is constipated but when she does go it's like a few little nuggets riddled with what looks like strung or even hair (tmi sorry) I don't know if I'm so paranoid about finding them, what if I am just mistaking mucous or something as she is constipated for something else. We have all been treated and I am washing sheets and our hands are raw from washing!
I have a photo of poo (the things we do for our children) but I'm new here and didn't want to offend with pictures of my latest obsession! I'll add as well that she is formula fed and not weaned yet

My DD had these at about a year old. I could tell because when I was changing her nappy I noticed 'movement'. I was horrified! Have you googled for images?

Yes, my DD had a suspected case at 3 months. I only found one but doctor was happy to prescribe the powdered medication (forget the name). Getting DD to take it was difficult, I mixed it with water and alternated a suck of medicine and a suck of milk. To be honest the smell of it turned my stomach - I remember having it when I was a child and throwing it back up over the kitchen floor.

Make sure you also get treatment for everyone else in the family too.

you cant get pripsen any more (the powdered worm stuff suitable for under 2's). Are the things in her poo white and wriggly?

For children under the age of 2 you would normally use the Hygiene measures shown here
