Is this normal?

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place but I'm just looking for some advice.

Since DS was a baby he has always had hiccups if he laughs, and if he carries on laughing/hiccuping then he will be sick.

He's 2.5 now and it still happens! It's only slightly now, so it usually getting swallowed again instead of making a mess.

So is this normal? Don't want to take him to the gp for hiccups!

How hard is he laughing and is it certain laughs make it happen but not others? I used to do something similar when I was tickled so not laughing because it was funny IYSWIM.

If its everytime he even giggles I think I would bother the GP.

Did he have reflux?

Never had reflux and not a really sicky baby. It's not every time he laughs, just when he laughs a lot. Not just tickled, but when he thinks something is hilarious like me falling flat in my bum!

I would probably see gp as if say its once a day it could be making his throat sore (bit like bulimia)
But would think he would be grizzly maybe if that was the case.
A friend said hiccups are a sign of relux for her DS.

(As children me and DSis would bring on asthma attacks if we laughed too much)
