Chicken Pox in an 'adult'

I know this is definitely the wrong section but I figured I could get the best advice here as I cannot find any information on Chickenpox in adults.

I had flu symptoms start on wed, 1st May and the first spots started on Fri, 3rd May. Saturday I went to the doc for severe toothache and he gave me penicillin and co-codamol and told me I had chicken pox. (Yay - not)

Poor BF has had to put up looking after me. I am 23 and I've never had chickenpox before. Sunday I slept through most of the day and Monday was horrific. I was ready to admit myself just to make it all stop. Had a huge fever, BF said he could fry an egg on my head. Constantly hot then cold then hot. BF made mea nice bed on the sofa bbed and i kept dozing in and out of sleep the whole day. Couldn't stomach any food at all. Sips of water and chicken cup a soup. Anything more and empty my stomach. Throat that felt like razor blades didn't help. No matter what i did i could not her comfortable.

Today is the first time I've actually felt normal bar theiirrational itching on my face and scalp. My fever has reduced substantially however i am still quite warm. My throat still hurts but my appetite is back. I actually woke up hungry for the first time since Friday. I had to force myself to eat on Saturday. But now my issue is spots getting infected. I had a spot in my belly button that i noticed had burst and smelled quite badly (sorry) I've cleaned it up as best Ican and put ssome coconut oil on as I don't have salon or germaline. Its greenish white and my whole belly button is red. I have another one under each breast that looks similar.

The Doc gave me a five day course of penicillin for the toothache in case it was an abscess (tooth ache has been gone since yesterday and don't want to go to dentist while still infectious)

Would it be worth ringing up the doctor tomorrow for some antibiotic ointment or should I just leave it all be?

Also when will be safe to go out in public again and not risk infecting people? Very bored sitting at home with nothing to do.

I think you need to speak to your doctor about the infected spots ASAP, you don't want to end up with blood poisoning.

You will remain infectious until all your spots have crusted over.
