Vomiting once a day?

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar or has any advice....sorry if this is long winded.

My 12 month old girl started vomiting on Friday night. On Saturday day she seemed absolutely fine but wasn't really eating. Then at 23:30 she vomited again. On Sunday she again did not eat but was happy and crawling around. She was taking bottles and drinking water but only had one wet nappy. We took her to the out of hours doctor the the paediatrician who said it seemed like it was just a virus and to keep up her fluid intake. So now Monday and Tuesday are the same where she's absolutely fine during the day but won't eat and then vomits at bed time.

She had her 1year jabs last Tuesday (not the mmr) and she has 4 molars coming through. She has always been small and is I the 9th percentile so can't really afford not to eat as she doesn't have the reserve fat.

What do you think? I am just don't know what to think or do so would really love some advice or to hear from people who's children have experienced something similar.

Thank you for reading this long winded, garbled message, I hope it makes sense!

DS2 (5yo) had similar a few months ago. Vomited in the early hours of the morning, had diarrhoea a couple of hours later, then was fine all day and all the next day. The following day same again, with sickness and diarrhoea again. Then again the next day, another day off and then another day of sickness. At that point I took him to GP who said it was probably just a virus and not that odd, but to get a poo sample if possible (it wasn't!).

He stopped vomitting after about 10 days and was fine.

If you are worried I would try and get some reassurance from a doctor, just to put your mind at rest. The most important thing is to keep her well hydrated.

Hope she feels better soon.Smile

We had this at C'mas for 3.5 weeks! Turns out it was a virus but they did lots of tests in paeds after 3w & weight loss. She was very very sick every night poor love. If it continues keep on at the dr.
