Lately, however my daughter aged 15 always has a stomach ache and it's after eating and she always watches what she eats. We've gone to the doctors and they just say keep a food diary and it's come up clear. Blood tests have been made and it's come up clear but with some vitamin D deficiency that we already know of.

. My child's bowel and urinary tract doctor (she has one because of her kyphoscoliosis and they're seeing if she has affected her bowel and urinary nerves there aswell as her leg nerves.) always tells us to avoid it. 8 mugs of fluids (not sugary) are necessary for a healthy body. We always avoid bananas even though my culture is mad about it. Sugary drinks is a nuisance as my daughter buys it as there are no still flavored water and she gags at water which she apparently hates.

She does need to loose weight as she's about 120cm (3' 10in) and 46-47kg. She's quite different from the rest if looked at her height because of her rare conradi-hunnerman happle syndrome but inside she's the same (except for her lungs and heart).

I don't want to seem like the hogger of the limelight but I am wondering if there are any children similarly aged experiencing the same thing as my DD.

Thanks.

I am sorry not to have anything useful to say, I suggest phoning your daughters consultant to see if they have any further suggestions or advice.

Or you could go to your GP and ask for a referral to a dietician at the hospital who should work with your consultant & will help your daughter.

There isn't a dietician... the GP tried to refer her to one but she was either too young or too old.

You need to speak to your GP again & your daughters consultant - phone them today or go & speak to your GP & discuss your worries with them.
