Month-old baby with reflux and eczema - would you cut dairy?

DD is exclusively breastfed, has been diagnosed with eczema and mild reflux. Extensive, probably misguided googling tells me both can be caused or aggravated by mum eating dairy so now I'm wondering if I should cut it out. Should I?! Have you? Anyone had any success/experience?

My dd2 at 3mo started to show signs of eczema and.it got progressively worse. We were prescribed Fucidin, steroids and Aveeno cream and bath oil. Her neck as a real flare point, at one stage it was so bad and infected it looked like someone had try to garrote her. Awful. Thankfully using the steroid 3x a day for several weeks, plus Fucidin and oral antibiotics sorted it. She's now 18mo and the eczema is virtually non existent. Her skin still has a tendency to get dry patches, and she still itches given half a chance. We use Aveeno still every now and again and haven't used the steroid for months now. The difference is amazing. I think she has grown out of it, and that seems to be the case with friends who also have wee ones that had excema. I guess much of it is them getting used to the environment, foods etc. I remember weaning coincided with the worst flare ups.

I couldn't care what people think of homeopathy. ..I have nothing to prove..just my story. mental scratching and itching all over baby ... she had it on 80 percent of her body. .. had it for quite some time. I thought I would try homeopathy before the steroid cream and wow am I glad I did. instant change. that's all!

op also I think it's true, sometimes all animal milk has to be cut out. we find we are good on sheep and goat and I find them great products. you might need a bit of trial and error to find what works for you. I used to work with someone who's bubba had terrible eczema. she had a skin test and it showed dairy as being ok.. the mum swore it wasn't. . she was a science teacher so not tree huggy.. anyway what I am saying is not everything is black and white
