He might still be hungry. Do you offer more? DS was latched on 24/7 pretty much during those early weeks.

I would phone NHS direct about raspy breathing. I could be nothing but it's best to check it out sooner rather then later. they will advice if you can just wait to make a GP appointment or need A&E. It's probably nothing but it's so hard to tell over the internet.

Also you might want to report you post to MNHQ to get your DS name taken out

thank you this might sound kinda stupid but even though I am only 22 yrs old I do not understand acronyms very well and how do you get a hold of NHS

How is he generally after feeds during the day? Being unsettled after feeds and noisy breathing could be signs of reflux, or colic. I would get him checked over, GPs never mind seeing tiny babies. If you call your surgery there should be a message telling you who to call out of hours. Let us know how you get on Smile

The fussing about could be cluster feeding, can be frustrating, but just keep feeding.
The raspy breathing could just be normal snuffly baby, but it would be best to get him checked out.

Not stupid at all I should have put it in my post

You can either go nhs direct or call 111. They are open 24hours and you get to speak to a nurse, they can arrange out of hours GPs (if needed)

I can't how many times I've called them to ask for advice or check something.
