Could this be teething? Or something more sinister?

Dd has her top 2 molars coming through. Since Tuesday she has slept awfully over night (but will sleep well on me) and been incredibly grizzly. The last 24 hours she has been crying most of her waking hours although neurofen seems to dull it to a whimper. She doesn't seem to want to play.
Apart from a slight temperature on Tuesday her temperature is fine even when the drugs have worn off. She has a runny nose and slight cough but she has had much worse before and been fine.

Can this all be teeth? Her other two molars have been painful but usually a good dose of neurofen sorts it out and it is normally only for a day or two.

She is 16 months.

Sounds like teething. My ds was terrible when his molars came through as were all his friends. Have you used nelsons teetha granules? I used to rub those on and give nurofen. The granules seemed to calm my ds down

More likely to be common cold. When children teeth they continually stuff their hands in their mouths. Fingers and hands that have been everywhere. So it is not surprising that teething is often accompanied by tummy upsets and coughs and colds.
