12 week old DD suddenly crying and refusing to eat

Hello,

I have been following topics on MN but this is my first post.
My DD has been really cranky for past 3-4 days and have no idea what is causing it.
We have visited GP on Thursday and she was given Gaviscon as she has beeb showing signs of reflux (possets a lot, brings back all of the meal she had etc), and he gave us Gaviscon to take 3 times daily. She is ebf so it was a pain giving it to her as I am only able to express in the morning so I introduced her to chamomile tea to take Gaviscon with.
I have now stopped giving her Gaviscon as well as tea because she is now having troubles with her stool (which she never had problems with before) and she only produces 1 or 2 dirty nappies a day and I can see that she is in a pain to pass it. It is also a lot thicker to her previous stool. Also, she is passing wind all the time.
Then this morning, I spotted white spots on her lips, looked it up on MN and it seems that she may have oral thrush. Also read that some of the syptoms mum can be sharp pain in breasts and it is something I have been experiencing for couple of weeks now.
I'm most worried today because I just can't seem to settle her, she is nearly constantly crying, and then drifts to sleep (and she isn't one for daytime naps and hasn't been since birth), wakes up and starts all over again. On top of that she is refusing breast (woke up at 9am this morning and only had 4 feeds and it's now 7pm), whereas before she ate like mad, I felt that all I do throughout the day is feed and burp her.
I considered that she may be coming down with something but checked her temp and is 36.4.
She is also drooling like mad for past few weeks and her hands are constantly in her mouth but GP believes it's too early for teething and it's just a developmental phase.
I'm just completely lost now and feel like a useless mum. She's due for her second set of jabs on Tuesday and I don't know whether I should naybe move them while she is feeling like this?

Ladies, any suggestions, anyone with similar experiences? I'll appreciate any sort of advise

It does sound like oral thrush....the NHS website says that it usually clears up quite quickly...within a day or two but if you're worried you need to see the GP or HV about it.

From all you've said, I would visit the doc tbh. THere's a gel they prescribe...thrush can make them feel icky and of course she's so small she needs to drink to avoid dehydration.

Thanks for your reply, I have called a GP and booked an appointment for tomorrow.
She seems to be better this morning though, she's had a good nights sleep and two naps since this morning as well as three feeds with no fuss so hopefully NHS website will be right in her case.
