can i get my baby vaccinated abroad?

hello.. my 8 week old is due for her first immunization next week.. we live in london, UK. however i am due to visit my parents in december in which case she will be missing her 3rd and 4th injection. Is it possible to get her vaccinated outside uk? or can i get her vaccinated when i come back in feb?? in need of advice as we are still finalizinng our travel plans.. has anyone else have their child's vaccine delayed for two months or had them administered abroad??

I had DS done abroad as we were living abroad. Was lucky in that there was a nurse at the British Embassy who could administer and we paid a nominal fee as far as I remember.

I think it depends on where you are going and if the same vaccinations are given there. If they are and you can have them done make sure you have the health record book so they can be logged.

Oh - DS also had some of his in Ireland as my family are there and we were there at the time.

Maybe you could you give your GP clinic a call and discuss with them the best way to work things out under the circumstances.
