Kids electric toothbrush

Hi
My dc has had an electric toothbrush since he was 4 and gets on with it well. He's nearly 7 now and it's time to replace it. Now it seems to be that a child's rechargeable toothbrush is nearly double the price of a decent adult one.
Now I'm tempted to buy the adult one but replace the head with the kids one. But I don't know if the adult one would be too powerful ( vision of dc's head vibrating uncontrollably whilst foaming out of mouth) and I can't compare as it doesn't say on the kids description how many strokes it does. Can anyone advise? Thanks

Mine all have colgate spiderman electric brushes, they were 3 for 2 in tesco a few days ago and weren't pricey even without that. They love them.

Thanks, I don't really need 3 though. I've been looking at the oral b ones because I have it too so don't have to faff with different chargers. The kids one is £30 whilst the decent adult one is £18 half price at the mo.

I think they were only about 13€ full price which is about 10-11£ for you. no chargers, just changeable batteries.

both mine just use oral b ones and they work fine

just buy an adults one, if you are worried about their gums just use a sensitive head,
